Ten Principles for Managing Problems Positively

Life is series of problems. So we should know to manage the problems effectively. What makes life difficult is that the process of confronting and solving problems is a painful one. We can also find solutions in Google search as well for more tips.  Here are the ten principles to manage problems effectively.

1. Don’t Underestimate:

Don’t underestimate the problem – or your potential power to cope with it creatively.

2. Don’t Exaggerate:

Instead of understanding the problem, your instinctive (and often, first) reaction is to exaggerate it.

3. Don’t wait:

There is a time and place for patience –  after you have tried every avenue possible and have planted as many seeds of solutions as you can. Patience is not a virtue if you sit back and wait for your problem to solve itself.

4. Don’t Aggravate:

We have the power to make any problem better or worse. We do this when we react positively or negatively. The normal reaction would be to feel threatened by the problem. Threatened people become angry people. Fearful people reflect hatred. Hatred and anger only aggravate the problem. They are not positive reactions. They will not help to solve th problem.

5. Illuminate:

Illuminate your mind. Get smart and then get smarter. Ask yourself some questions:

“Has any other person faced my problem and overcome it?”

“What really is my problem anyway?”

6. Motivate:

When you consider all of the positive reactions, you will be motivated to positive actions. “It takes guts to leave the ruts”.

7. Sublimate:

Every problem, even yours, is loaded possibilities. You can turn your mountain into a gold mine. Try “Posibilitizing”. Believing that every time one door closes, another will open. Sublimate your problem. That means believing that every adversity holds within it the seeds of an undeveloped possibility.

8. Dedicate:

Most People fail, not because they lack intelligence, ability, opportunity, or talent but because they haven’t given their problem all they’ve got!

Anyone can succeed if he can get enthusiastic about life even when life seems empty. Doors will open to the enthusiastic person first.

9. Communication:

Manage your problem by remembering that oftentimes the solutions lie in help from some other source. Do you need help? Then ask for it. Don’t be too proud to tell people you need help.

10. Insulate:

Don’t isolate yourself from help, but do insulate yourself from negative forces and negative personalities.
